
GET READY TO WONDER! WITH SCIENCE RENDEZVOUS ~ MAY 10, 2025
Science Rendezvous invites you to join the fun and WONDER! on May 10, 2025, with an exciting line-up of events, activities, and demos available for FREE!
Join us at the University of Saskatchewan for a day of hands-on activity booths, fun campus tours, educational workshops, free face painting, food trucks and more drop-in family fun! This year’s theme is WONDER! As such, we plan to showcase the wondrous science innovations happening in Saskatoon and at the U of S campus!
Time: Saturday, May 10th, 2025, 10 AM – 4 PM
Location: Agriculture Building Atrium – 51 Campus Drive Saskatoon, SK S7N 5A8
Public: Kids from kindergarten to 9th grade. All youth must be accompanied by a responsible adult supervisor.

Saskatchewan Science Center
Saskatchewan Science Centre is coming to Saskatoon! Do not miss there AWESOME exhibits:
- Uphill Roll – Can objects roll uphill or does gravity always pull objects down? Visitors won’t believe their eyes when you watch how this object moves!
- Slap-a-Phone – Sound is made by waves moving through air. Low sounds and high sounds have different wavelengths, making different pitches of noise. Play a tune on the Slap-a-Phone!
And make sure to stop by their “Build a Box City” activity to learn all about what it takes to make your own city!

SCI-FI Science Camps
SCI-FI camps is ready to challenge you with the help of their little Robot Mouse, students will learn the basics of coding. Students will guide the mouse through various challenges by using instructions, directions, numbers and patterns.

Wildlife Rescue Society of Saskatchewan
Do not forget to say hello to our favourite snakes,Wilbur the Hognose and Miss Wiggles the Plains Gartersnake! Be prepared to learn all about snakes in Saskatchewan!

Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation
Check out their booth that will showcase the amazing abilities of raptors, and how these birds of prey have adapted to become skilled hunters. Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation intakes about 2300 animals every year, with many of these animals being hawks, owls, and falcons. By showcasing the fascinating skills and adaptations of raptors, they hope to encourage people to live in harmony with these special creatures.

Show off your artistic abilities with Windscape Kite Festival as you build your own kites and learn the physics behind how they work!

Strawberry DNA Extraction
Make sure to visit Dr. Collins and her team to learn all about biotechnology! You will learn how to extract DNA and see them under a microscope!
