Do you want to become an Earth doctor?! Get your hands dirty with land reclamation scientists from Future Energy Systems and the Land Reclamation International Graduate School, University of Alberta.

Join us April 23, from 11am to 1pm at the Strathcona Branch (8331 104 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 4E9) of the Edmonton Public Library to get your hands on, and in, some Earth Day activities. Learn about being an Earth doctor, feel different kinds of growth mediums, design your own healthy Earth, and even take a plant home with you – once you’ve planted it, of course!

Expert: Dr. Aze Wilson is a clinical gastroenterologist and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Western University.

Science Rendezvous this year will include a group dedicated to psychology. During this session,
you will get to explore your memory! You’ll get to learn about what memory really is and which
parts of the brain are responsible for memory. We will be exploring short-term, and long-term
memory while also learning about different memory strategies. There will be fun activities
throughout the session where you will get to test your memory skills while also learning about
strategies that will better help you remember important things. So if you’re excited to learn about
